For Mixed Ages

Musikgarten has captured the magic of nursery rhymes in its program called Nimble & Quick. This program is designed to be taught to children of mixed ages. Mixed age classes allow families with limited time to all come to the same class and give families an opportunity to develop a shared repertoire of music and childhood games.
  • The classes are filled with a great variety of music and movement activities to meet children's developmental needs, to hold the children's interest in the group setting, and to bring families together.
  • The rhyming words and playful rhythms help children to quickly catch on to the verses, allowing them to participate fully…
         “Rub-a-dub-dub, Three men in a tub...”
  • The tales told by the nursery rhymes and song material encourage the older children as they are developing language skills and challenge them to use their imaginations in new ways.  The rhymes and songs are just as appealing to the younger children in the room, whether it is a toddler enjoying the movement, or instrumental play or the infant who is simply enjoying the sound of the music and the rhythm of the words as s/he bonds with his/her caregiver.
Fun family packets include lively music on CDs, an accompanying parent book and bean bags.  Use at home to increase family involvement in the learning process.

Seven 45-min. classes

$130 per family
Tuition includes: 
CD & digital download, Family Book, and Bean Bags
