Overview:
This is a 8 week class dedicated to the study of guitar technique in tandem with different methods of relaxation. The objective of the class is to facilitate a relaxing environment for students to learn helpful memorization exercises and heighten their guitar-playing technique. Over the course of 8 weeks, the class will be introduced to various different exercises to encourage physical and mental relaxation in order to learn how to play the guitar in a calm, mindful environment. Registering students should be adults and have beginner/intermediate experience with playing the acoustic guitar.
Class Details (Dates, Tuition, Missed Classes):
Our 5: Guitar and Relaxation Techniques will run from April 1st, 2021 through May 27th, 2021 with no class on April 22nd, 2021 due to conflicting studio events on this day. This gives a total of 8 classes. The classes will take place once a week for 45 minutes on Thursdays from 5:30pm to 6:15pm. A minimum of 3 students must be registered in order to run the class, and a maximum of 5 students will be accepted. Registration can be completed using the form below or through The Studio Connection front desk. Registrations will be accepted through March 29th, 2021. Class tuition is $99.00. A one-time payment by cash, check, or credit card is due in order to finalize registration. Payments will not be processed until the first day of class. No refunds will be given for missed classes. The instructor will reschedule any classes he may miss. Please call the studio at 419-419-3355 as early as possible on the day of the class, if you must miss a class. No books are necessary for purchase for this class.
Expectations:
Students should practice the techniques and exercises taught in the class at home between the scheduled class times. Weekly practice assignments may be given, and students should come prepared for each class. This is a relatively fast-paced course of guitar instruction, so work at home is essential in order to get the most out of the experience. Students are responsible for bringing their guitar and all necessary materials to each class.

- Cell phone for possible tuning purposes
