Kelsey Gilsdorf
Kelsey has studied piano privately for 20 years and is a 2011 graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she received a Bachelor of Music in piano performance with a specialization in piano pedagogy. Previously a student at Cedarville University, she received two years of keyboard pedagogy training with Mrs. Connie Anderson. She also enjoyed private piano instruction with Dr. Charles Clevenger. After transferring to BGSU, Kelsey studied three years with Dr. Solungga Fang-Tzu Liu, and was also able to serve as president of the student chapter of BG OMTA (Ohio Music Teachers Association) for the 2010-11 school year. Kelsey is currently active as a collaborative pianist and member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and TPTA (Toledo Piano Teachers Association) and has been teaching piano privately for 5 years.
In addition to classical instruction, Kelsey has been a church musician for over ten years. In 2003, she participated in the Talents for Christ piano competition and placed first in the state level and second in nationals. Kelsey also served as the main keyboardist for HeartSong Touring Teams, a ministry of Cedarville University, for the 2005-06 season.
