The Studio Connection is a piano studio in Bowling Green, Ohio, run by three area teachers who are committed to promoting and developing a love of music within the local community. Thank you for visiting our website! This is one of our ways of keeping parents and students informed of studio happenings and relevant musical events within the greater Toledo area. We welcome prospective students to browse around and learn more about The Studio Connection and our piano instructors. Spring Musikgarten Has Begun!
Musikgarten classes are the pathway to music literacy, fostering an already innate love for music and preparing children to have success with future music lessons. These classes are for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children, taught by Miss Susan in Bowling Green through BG Parks & Recreation. If your child responds to music as most children do, it is never too soon to begin developing their skills and encouraging music within the family. We began our Toddlers class last week with five new students, meeting at the Scout Building at City Park in BG. Their faces light up with the variety of music we play and move to. Using the rhythm sticks and jingles to keep a steady beat is a favorite for all children in the class! Spring Recitals and Awards Program
Please mark your calendars now for the Honors Recital, Awards and Spring Recitals weekend May 18-19, 2012. It's an event you won't want to miss! On Friday night we will be giving awards for our PIANO Points Competition and highlighting the students in the Top Ten as they perform for the whole studio. Students ranking 11-20 will be asked to provide prelude music as people arrive before the Awards event begins. All other students will be asked to sign up for a recital time on Saturday morning at 10:00 or 11:00 am. We anticipate very polished performances as the students share their music. We are already talking about what pieces they will be preparing!
